Tomorrow Wednesday, November 8, 2023 is our 2nd annual Turkey Trot! You are welcome to bring in a pledge sheets and flat rate funds tomorrow but, you may also keep them until after Thanksgiving break and return them on Monday, November 27th. This will give you time to see if any family members would like to donate or sponsor your child for this event. We have multiple classes raising funds for field trips and the bus to transport students to the field trips Field trips are fabulous opportunities for students. Remember that Thursday, November 9th and Friday, November 10th there is no school for students. We will see everyone back on Monday, November 13th and that will be the start of our minimum days for parent teacher conferences. School will get out at 12:30 PM all week!

Today we had a lockdown drill. Students and staff were all notified ahead of time and knew what to expect and what to do. There was no danger to anyone this was a practice as part of our monthly drills.

Tomorrow Monday, October 30th is the start of Spirit week! We start the week off with pajama day!

Minnie Cannon Lunch Menu for October 2023!

Attendance Challenge starts on Monday, October 2, 2023! The Challenge will be for four weeks. Each week the class with the highest percentage will receive popsicles. After the four weeks the class with the highest overall percentage will get a pizza party! Let the competition begin. Staff will be included in their overall attendance percentage also!

Reminder Tomorrow, Tuesday 9/26/2023 is Sports Day. Wear your favorite sports team gear. Also make up picture day is Wednesday, 9/27/2023!

Tomorrow starts Spirit Week! Wear pajamas to school! Monday, September 25, 2023! Also any student that was signed off to run for student council can start hanging their three posters. Speeches will be given Friday, September 29th at 8:15!

Minnie Cannon's Back to School Night Thursday, August 24, 2023 starts at 5:30 each teacher will give their presentation twice, once at 5:30 and again at 6:00 pm. We would like this to be a parent event so that parents are able to focus on what the teachers are sharing for the year. We will have high schoolers in the library if you need to bring your child or children with you to Back to School Night. We ask that you please sign your children in with the high schoolers in the library. Thank you and we are looking forward to a great year!
