2024-25 School Year!

Minnie Cannon Office opens Thursday, August 1st

School begins Thursday, August 8th

Class list will be posted on Thursday, August 7, 2024 after 4:00 pm.

Office Hours:  7:00-3:30 pm

School Hours:  1st -5th Grade students: 8:00-2:30 pm

                           TK-Kindergarten students: 8:00-1:00 pm

Afterschool program: we will have an afterschool program run by EDMO, registration will be coming soon and sent out on Parent Square.

Arrival Time/Drop off

DROP OFF LOCATION: ALL students are to be dropped off in the front of Minnie Cannon Elementary

Students are not to arrive at school until 7:30 AM as we have no student supervision until that time.  Breakfast will be served from 7:30-7:55, students arriving after 7:55 will need to wait until second chance breakfast. All students will get dropped off in front of Minnie Cannon.  Please drive up to the adult to let your student out of the vehicle.  Please DO NOT stop and let your child out before you reach the adult, this will cause a traffic back up.  You may also park your vehicle and walk your students across the crosswalk to the sidewalk.  For the safety of all students please do not walk your students to their classroom.  We need to know who is on campus at all times.

PICK UP LOCATIONS

TK/Kindergarten 1:00 pm Pick up will be on Knowles Lane-Side of school

1st/2nd grade class, Mrs. Cascio, Mrs. Pimentel’ s classes

2:30 pm Pick up be on Knowles Lane-Side of school 

Mrs. Parker, Mrs. Pebelier’s classes

2:30 pm Pick up will be in FRONT of Minnie Cannon Elementary.

If you have students in multiple grade levels please pick up where your lowest grade level student pick up is. All students must leave school immediately after school is dismissed, unless a supervised activity has been prearranged. 3rd- Parents picking up children should use the parking lot in front of the school.   Walking home is not allowed unless the parent pre arranged it.  Students will be allowed to walk home if they regularly walk home and they live very near the school.  There is no playground supervision after school.   

Departure Time/Messages-VERY IMPORTANT

All messages to students from parents, will be sent through the elementary school office and must be received before 2:00 PM. Please make sure that if you will be making any cahnages to your child’s pik up that it is done before 2:00 pm.
